Collaborated with the Creative Team to redesign HSH.com, a site that educates visitors about mortgages and home ownership. Half of the team worked on the desktop version of the site, while the other half took on mobile. Since I was part of the mobile team, this page will focus on the mobile web version.
Homepage and Navigation
Because this is the first page that visitors see, we wanted to make sure it captures what the site has to offer. As visitors scroll through, they will see resources for homeowners and buyers such as different types of payment calculators, relevant articles, mortgage rate charts, and FAQs. Of course, we can’t forget about navigation - we definitely want to make sure visitors can get around the website and explore.
Reverse Mortgage
For the curious homeowner, this page provides all the basics about what a reverse mortgage is and how it works. We included articles and links regarding the topic, as well as a home equity conversion mortgage rate trend chart for visitors to explore. There’s also a widget that allows visitors who are ready for a reverse mortgage to find matching lenders in their area.
First Time Home Buyer
Buying a house for the first time can seem like a daunting task, so we wanted to include a resource that makes it more manageable! There’s a step-by-step guide, mortgage rate chart, and a variety of calculators that are helpful in the home buying process. And of course, more links to relevant articles - because the more you know, the better.
